How we work

A predictable sequence, from the first call to the filed return. No surprises, no work outside the agreed scope.

The engagement

Five steps, always in this order

The first two steps cost you nothing. You decide whether to continue once you have the scope and the fee in writing.

Consultation

Thirty to forty-five minutes, by phone, video or at our Bergen office. You describe the company and the question; we tell you what applies and what the deadline is.

Review and written proposal

We look at your last filed accounts, VAT returns and any correspondence from Skatteetaten. You receive a proposal describing scope, responsibilities, timeline and fee basis.

Onboarding

Authorisation in Altinn, access to your accounting system, handover from a previous accountant if there is one, and a deadline calendar for your company.

Ongoing work

Bookkeeping, VAT and payroll on a fixed monthly rhythm. Advisory questions answered in writing, with the legal reference where it matters.

Year end and review

Annual accounts, tax return and shareholder reporting, followed by a meeting on what to change for the coming year.

Working with us

What we expect from you

Good tax work is a two-way job. The engagements that go smoothly all share the same three habits.

  • Documents delivered in the agreed window each month
  • A heads-up before a major transaction, not after
  • One named contact on your side who can approve filings

In return you get named people on our side, response within one working day, and no invoice for work you did not approve.

Deadlines we track for you

The Norwegian reporting year

Dates shift slightly from year to year. We confirm the exact deadline for your company in your calendar at onboarding.

Monthly

A-melding and payroll reporting, by the 5th of the following month.

Bimonthly

VAT return for each two-month term, roughly six weeks after the term ends.

Spring

Corporate and personal tax returns, plus the shareholder register statement.

Summer

Annual accounts filed with the Register of Company Accounts.
